Effective supervisions are important to any leadership team. This course will help you to understand what a good supervision is and why they are important, how to prepare for a supervision, and the importance of supportive feedback. This interactive course aims to give you the confidence to perform better supervisions with your team with direct reference to your own organisation’s policies and forms.
- Understand what is a supervision and why it is important
- Know policy and expectations required by Care Act 2014 and CQC, and the impact of the Care Certificate
- Completion of a supervision form, feedback skills and good/bad practice
- Opportunity to practice supervisions in a safe learning environment
