These two topic areas are very important and this course is designed to help people working in care to understand how to support clients in a person centred way to maintain good oral health and bowel health. By the end of the session you will be able to, amongst other things, understand good oral health and bowel health hygiene routines, know how parts work within the mouth and the bowel, understand how to observe and monitor changes, spot signs and symptoms of health conditions and how to take action, and the importance of recording and reporting your findings.
